Regina Spektor might be my favorite musician. At least up there with John Lennon. They're both poets. Her music is innovative, original, touching and inspiring. Beautiful melodies coupled with quirky, often funny lyrics. She sang all of my favorites along with melancholy tracks from her new album. Another bonus? I got to see her perform live at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Very cool venue. Old church turned into funky, arty concert hall. Original organ can still be seen.
